Using Fax Databases

These terms govern use of faxdatabases.com and purchases from Fax Databases. Our Delivery and Refund Policy also applies to purchases. You must be legally able to enter a contract and have authority to act for any business for which you purchase. Keep your account secure and report suspected unauthorized access through Contact Us.

What a purchase includes

We supply downloadable US business and professional fax-contact data. The Fax List Builder lets you select available filters, inspect a limited preview and review a quote. We do not include fax transmission, fax equipment, campaign management or advertising consent in a data purchase.

Your order review identifies the list scope, quantity and price in USD. Multiple contact records can share one fax number. Matching-contact exports include matching contact rows, while pricing uses the quoted unique fax count. A contact count is not a count of separate fax machines.

Check your selections before paying. Quotes can expire and later data releases can change future results. A purchase does not include automatic access to future database updates. Fields may be blank where information is unavailable; a blank field is not a promise of additional research.

Payment and fulfillment

Checkout displays the amount and currency you authorize, together with any applicable charges shown there. Only methods offered at checkout are available. A list purchase is a one-time transaction, not a subscription or a prepaid credit plan.

After payment, an administrator reviews the order and the file is prepared for release. Delivery is normally estimated at five minutes to a few hours, depending on verification progress. This is an estimate rather than a guaranteed deadline. If additional checks or information are needed, preparation can take longer.

The approved CSV is made available in the purchasing account through My Orders. Payment confirmation alone does not mean the file has been released. See the Delivery and Refund Policy for access, invalid-record remedies and other order problems.

Licence and restrictions

A paid purchase provides a non-exclusive, non-transferable licence for lawful use within the purchasing business. Staff and service providers may handle it on your behalf for that purpose, subject to confidentiality and appropriate use restrictions; they may not use it for their own independent marketing or resale.

Do not resell, publish, sublicense or give away the list, expose it in a public API, or use it to create a competing contact-data product. The licence does not transfer ownership of our software, branding or compilation rights. It does not create ownership of facts where the law provides none.

Do not bypass preview or request limits, scrape records, share accounts to evade controls or attempt to access another customer’s files. We may restrict access to investigate abuse or protect the service, without removing obligations that apply to existing purchases.

Lawful communications

Purchasing a fax record does not establish recipient consent, an existing business relationship or an exemption from marketing law. Before sending advertisements, establish the permission or other legal basis required for your communication and meet applicable identification, opt-out and suppression requirements. Public availability of a number is not blanket permission to advertise.

Do not use the data for unlawful unsolicited advertising, harassment, impersonation, fraud or prohibited targeting. It is not a consumer-reporting product and must not be used to determine eligibility for credit, insurance, employment or housing. Healthcare-professional records must not be treated as patient records or used to infer personal health conditions.

Data quality and remedies

Number formatting and database checks do not prove that every number currently accepts faxes. Numbers can change, be shared, become disconnected or be used for another service. We do not guarantee a response rate, campaign profit or return on investment.

For confirmed invalid records, we offer replacement data or a proportional refund for the affected records as described in our Delivery and Refund Policy. Those remedies do not depend on a promise of 100% live fax verification. A material difference from your agreed purchase will be addressed with you; unrelated records will not silently replace the agreed scope.

Questions, rights and changes

Contact Us with your order reference and relevant examples if something is wrong. We do not require you to waive rights available under applicable law or your payment provider’s process to ask for assistance.

To the extent permitted by law, we do not undertake responsibility for campaign expenditure, expected profits or results from your use of the data. Nothing here excludes liability or remedies that cannot legally be excluded. There is no compulsory arbitration clause in these terms.
